Family matters most.

You guys are aware I am in Arizona, visiting family and getting to shoot my first wedding, right? Aunt Judy & Uncle Gene took me to the gym with them this morning and then we scurried off the the bride's to discuss her desires and wants, shopped for some shoes, for Aunt Judy. Somehow, I managed to walk out with a new pair myself and then we shopped for Maliah's birthday party on Sunday. The highlight of the afternoon was getting to try my first Jack in the Box burger! Looks like they do a good job..it's a top 5er! Tomorrow I get to finally try the famous In & Out....wonder who will be the best!
The rehearsal was tonight and of course so was the dinner. Hugs and family gossip began. Oh how I miss having them close by! Especially, when I look around and see how all the original kids children are growing and starting their own lives. It seems like just yesterday we were young and starting out ourselves.

I managed to snap a few pics of the venue, that place is gorgeous! And, I got some candid shots of the rehearsal for the bride to be as well. Lucky me I also managed to snap a few of the next expectant mommy in our midst, it was a beautiful evening and watching everyone talk and laugh while the kids ran around was amazing, it's quite the large bunch. Saturday after the ceremony, but before the reception I am taking the Hudson family photograph. Aunt Judy figures its been about 8 years since the last one with all the kids and grand kids, so she is excited! I am too...imagine capturing them all together? ALL 30 of them!! I asked Mike to have me a ladder or pull out the bobcat and hoist me up so I can get them all in the frame. Did I mention there is 30 of them! How exciting!
