Take one minute

To breath, regroup and forget all of life's complexities. Look at the big picture. How small and insignificant we really are.

The sun rises and sets....the tides come in and go out....weeds outgrow grass.....the earth keeps turning...and despite how huge we think a problem may be, someone else is in charge.

That is probably the hardest thing I have trouble with. I'm a fixer always on duty.
I'm true, honest, kind and giving. But, to fault I want it my way, the right way and I will gladly always fix it for you.

Tonight I sit her reminding myself, something's aren't in my hands or under my control. Let it be....take a moment to breath and know, it's his plan not mine.

Sunny days equal Springy changes!

After our last snowstorm, which dumped about 6 inches here, we received a sunny no coat wearing day the very next day. All the snow was gone by dinner time, but the mud remains. I can take the mud as long as there's sunshine.

The robins are singing and flying all over our yard. I read over the weekend that the night of our latest snowy event was the night of the Earthworm Full Moon.

Truth is everything was frozen, but I guess those worms are a movin cause the robins are perusing through our grass with vigor.

Feeling the warm sunny breeze inspired me to make a change! All the bed linens are washed, comforters are almost done and Trenton has new curtains and a matching pillowcase made by Mommaw Bev!

I wonder what other springy changes are coming?

These Days...

Yes...Emma is staring at Bailey! She's excited she's spending soo much time with us lately!
The reason being this has been the worst winter I can ever remember. Seventeen out of the past 18 weeks have included the white fluffy precipitate.
Emma has grown accustomed to snowballs stuck to her coat.
David has probably shoveled a thousand football fields if snow.
Haleigh just wants to play outside, uninstructed, running amuck with the breeze in her hair and sunshine on her pudgy little nose.
It sneaks in at night, still lingers in daylight.
We're all sick of it!

Where are my crocus, tulips and daffodils? March is almost over...my birthday is almost here. I really don't want to waste my cake wish in spring, but I will!!
